View markers

Click themdbview.pngView icon to see marker information, marker group associates, references, assays information, and primer information.

Edit markers

Click themdbedit-20241011-032447.pngEdit icon to modify marker group information and its associated markers.

 

Delete markers

Click themdbdelete-20241011-032425.pngDelete icon to unpublish marker groups information and its associated markers.

 

Create new marker

  1. Click CREATE MARKER button.

This will take the Laboratory manager directly to the MARKERS tab in MarkerDb page, where they can store information about the marker(s).

 

  1. Once done. On the lower left click the Save and add button to save the created marker, then click the Finish button to be directed back to MARKERS tab.

The system allows values between 0 to 1 for the FNR and FPR data fields when creating or editing a marker’s information.

 

Associate markers to a marker group

  1. Click themdbedit-20241011-032447.pngEdit icon then click on the Add Marker Group button.

 

  1. Click Add Marker Group button,

  2. Then select a Marker Group Name from the drop-down list.

  3. After selecting, Click Add.

  4. Once done, on the upper right click Save.

 

Edit marker metadata

Modify marker details, such as name, position, and primer sequences.

Click themdbedit-20241011-032447.pngEdit icon then click on the field for modification such as Marker info, Marker group associates, References, Assays info, and Primer info section. Once done, click Save.

 

View Allele Information

Access detailed information about individual alleles associated with markers.

  1. From the MarkerDb page, Click the Allele tab

  2. Click theview (1).pngView icon on the Allele you want to see the information. Once done click the AlleleBack.pngBack icon to direct back to Allele tab data browser.
