The Field Book App by PhenoApps, now enhanced with EBS BrAPI integration, offers a highly efficient solution for phenotypic data collection. By replacing the traditional, time-consuming methods of hand-recording and manual data entry, this app makes data collection faster and more reliable.
With the BrAPI integration, the app provides seamless connectivity between the web and mobile platforms. After a quick installation and setup, users can import data, enter it directly into the app, review it using the grid view, and sync everything for a smooth upload.
Getting Started
Assuming the occurrences are available in EBS, ensure the following:
EBS CB-Experiment Manager. Set up trait protocols before importing the occurrences on the Field Book App.
EBS account. Ensure that the work email is logged in and matches the EBS login details.
Local device. Dedicate one file folder on the mobile device to store the Field Book files.
Field Book App. Download and install the app from the Google Play Store on the Android device. After that, adjust the basic app settings to get started.
