A Generation Nursery (GN) is a type of experiment that is used for the selection and advancement of segregating populations and seed increase (multiplication) of any selected lines or populations.
Provide basic information
The first step in creating the experiment is to give basic information about it and optionally provide additional details.
Click the dropdown field under Experiment Type and select Generation Nursery.
Fill in the necessary fields, especially those marked with an asterisk ( * ).
It is recommended to fill out the optional fields to identify the experiment when it is used in the future.
Once done, click Save.
The Entry List tab will open with the notification that the experiment is successfully created.
