A Breeding Trial (BT) is a type of experiment that has a set of germplasm with or without checks and a statistical design. These are conducted in a single or multi-location to compare the yields, disease, physiological traits, etc. of selected germplasm.
Provide basic information
The first step in creating the experiment is to give basic information about it and optionally provide additional details.
Click the dropdown field under Experiment Type and select Breeding Trial.
Fill in the necessary fields, especially those marked with an asterisk ( * ).
It is recommended to fill out the optional fields to identify the experiment when it is used in the future.
Once done, click Save.
The Entry List tab will open with the notification that the experiment is successfully created.

Create changes to the entries.
