Request Manager
Breeders need various screening and genotypic analysis services to accurately collect data, which they will request from the internal service units that triage and process clients' service requests. The Request Manager tool simplifies this process by allowing breeders to submit requests, track their progress, and communicate directly with the service team.

Request Manager Entry point and Navigation
1. Open EBS and log in using your credentials.
2. After that, you will be redirected to the EBS Homepage. Click on Service Management.
3. Select Request Manager from the Service Management dashboard or the left navigation menu.
4. The browser allows creating, managing, and tracking all service requests generated within the same program. Additionally, the data browser offers real-time updates on the status of requests.
Request Status | Description |
---|---|
new | The requestor created and submitted a service request, awaiting approval |
approved | The lab manager accepted the submitted request |
rejected | The lab manager rejected the submitted request |
modified | The requestor edited and resubmitted the created service request |
Design created | The lab manager created a batch of the submitted requests |
file uploaded | The lab manager has uploaded the results file |
file processing ongoing | The uploaded results file has been processed in the background |
file processing failed | The uploaded results file has failed to process |
results ready | The results are now ready to download by the requestor |
Specific Marker Group(s)/Traits associated with a request can now be viewed. The request status is accurately updated upon the deletion of the corresponding batch.

Edit: Change information in an existing request
Delete: Delete a request
Download Results: Access the results of your completed requests
Add New Request: Create a new service request
Download CSV: Save a copy of a request list as a CSV file
Refresh: Update the list of requests
Personalized Grid Settings: Show or hide columns in the request list
Genotyping Service Manager Messaging: Request Manager now offers direct communication with the service team from a specific request
EBS Direct Message: direct communication with the service team
