  1. Mexican Visa Authorization Number from Rosalba (DSC-*****)

  2. Get an Appointment with the Mexican Consulate. If you’re traveling in a group, please make sure to make one(1) email good for one authorization number.

    1. Authorization number DSC-****** (communication attached)

    2. Original passport valid for at least six months and photocopy of the first and last page.

    4. One recent passport-sized photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm, in color, without glasses, facing front, white background).

    5. Original invitation letter from CIMMYT and Support letter addressed to the Mexican Consulate in Spanish (provided by DHL, please take an extra copy for you)

    6. Get an appointment at the corresponding Mexican Consulate, (through email and sharing the authorization DSC-***** document):

  3. Personal Appearance at the consulate. DON’T Forget to bring printed copies ( 2 copies each) of the following: 

    1. Authorization number DSC-*****

    2. Original passport valid for at least six months 

    3. Bring a photocopy of the first and last page.

    4. Application form duly filled (printed on one page, double-sided) visa form attached.

    5. One recent passport-sized photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm, in color, without glasses, facing front, white background)./

    6. Original invitation letter from CIMMYT 

    7. Support letter addressed to the Mexican Consulate in Spanish (provided by DHL, please take an extra copy for you)

    8. Please present a copy of the invitation letter and the Mexican visa authorization email upon arrival in Mexico before Immigration authorities.

    9. Possible additional documents they might look for:

      1. NSO Birth Certificate

      2. Certificate of Employment

  4. Pick up Mexican Visa at the embassy make sure to bring the following:

    1. 2 Valid ID( UMID and IRRI ID)

    2. Vaccine Card (E-copy is valid) and mask

    3. CA for Visa Application

    4. Transportation to Mexican Embassy
