Batch Manager

 


The Batch Manager tool allows internal and external service providers to group service requests with the same requester and purpose into a batch to allow for a more efficient workflow.

 

Get Started

Batch Manager Entry point and Navigation

1. Open EBS and log in using your credentials.

2. After that, you will be redirected to the EBS Homepage. Click on Service Management.

3. The Service Management dashboard will open. Select Batch Manager from either the dashboard or the left navigation menu.

 

4. The Batch Manager browser will open. You will see all batches created under different programs.

 

The Download CSV icon () lets you generate an offline copy of the browser, while the Personalize Grid Settings icon () allows you to hide or unhide columns in the browser.

 

View a batch

1. On the main browser, click the View icon () to see the batch details.

 

2. The details of a batch include information about the 1) Requests, 2) Service & Technology, and 3) Plate Layout.

Each entry is provided with a column containing the Sample ID, which is generated during plate layout. This can be accessed via View Batch () > Requests Tab > View Request () > Germplasm Tab.

 

Download forms and printouts

Download batch vendor form

To generate the form the lab manager will submit to the vendor, click the Download icon () on the main browser.

 

Download printouts

To generate printouts in Batch Manager, tick the checkbox () beside the batch and click the Printout icon () from the toolbar.

For Scriptoria Genotyping printout, rename the file to its batch name or batch code before uploading it to Scriptoria.

 

Delete a batch

On the main browser, click the Delete icon () beside the batch you want to delete.
