Request Manager

 


Breeders need various screening and analysis services to accurately collect data, which they will request from the Internal service unit that triage, and/or process clients' service requests. The Request Manager tool allows breeders to request services, such as genotyping analyses, to designated laboratories.

Get Started

Request Manager Entry point and Navigation

1. Open EBS and log in using your credentials.

2. After that, you will be redirected to the EBS Homepage. Click on Service Management.

 

3. The Service Management dashboard will open. Select Request Manager from either the dashboard or the left navigation menu.

 

4. The Request Manager browser stores all the service requests created within the same program. The data browser also shows the status of the requests.

new - The requestor created and submitted a service request, awaiting approval.

approved - The lab manager accepted the submitted request.

rejected - The lab manager rejected the submitted request.

modified - The requestor edited and resubmitted the created service request.

Design created - The lab manager created a batch of the submitted requests.

file uploaded - The lab manager has uploaded the results file.

file processing ongoing - The uploaded results file has been processed in the background.

file processing failed - The uploaded results file has failed to process.

results ready - The results are now ready to download by the requestor.

A. View icon lets you view the basic information about the request and the germplasm list.

B. Edit icon allows you to edit your previously created request.

C. Delete icon deletes your created request.

D. Download Results icon lets you download the results of your requests.

E. Add New Request button lets you create a request service.

F. Download CSV icon lets you generate an offline copy of the browser.

G. Refresh icon refreshes the data browser.

H. Personalized grid settings icon allows you to hide or unhide columns in the request list browser.
