2024 Quarter 4

Bug fixes

You can now expect to encounter no errors when:

  1. accessing the Core Breeding (CB) domain via the EBS portal, and

  2. accessing the Service Management (SM) domain via the domain shortcuts icon on the EBS top menu bar.

Bug fix

Users can now access the EBS domain without any problems, such that the system validates the case-sensitive email address used when logging in.

Assign users to an organizational unit.

When creating a new user profile, additional data fields are now enabled to assign users to an organizational unit and define their roles.

Updating user profiles is improved.

You can now expect that changes made to a user’s profile, including addresses and permissions, are immediately reflected to the Core Breeding (CB) domain and its tools. Additionally, only the relevant access levels are retained for each tool in CB to avoid confusion.

Bug fixes

The following errors are now fixed. You can now:

  1. successfully create a user profile even after the process failed during the first try, and

  2. expect that a user profile’s address matches the institution the user belongs to.

Bug fix

The data browser’s column filters are now working as expected.

Creation workflow for outgoing shipments for IRRI is enhanced.

The following improvements are implemented:

  1. Audit data. New columns that house information on who created and modified a transaction and when it was created and modified are now available on the data browser. These new columns headers are: Created By/On and Modified By/On.

  2. Generate SMTA-IDs per document type. You can now generate a legal document for the following categories: a) MLS, b) PUD1 and PUD 2, and c) PUD2. The SMTA-IDs are also auto-generated for each one. After selecting the document type, you can then download the final legal document.

  3. Material list in ascending order. The material list is included as an annex to the generated legal documents of PUD1 and PUD2. For HRDC RETA and TLSG RETA documents, you can now expect that the Annex’s Item Number column is sorted in ascending order for easier reference.

  1. Generate the Proforma Invoice. As recommended by the Seed Health Unit (SHU), this invoice replaces the dispatch note that was previously generated for foreign and domestic shipment transactions.

Audit data for Shipment Outgoing CIMMYT.

New columns that house information on who created and modified a transaction and when it was created and modified are now available on the data browser. These new columns headers are: Created By/On and Modified By/On.

Bug fixes

The following errors are now corrected. You can now expect:

  1. that shipment transactions with the submitted status cannot be edited,

  2. to view all transactions in all tabs even when the user has an SHU Service Provider role, and

  3. that the updated shipment items' values are reflected after successfully syncing with Core Breeding (CB).
