The Field Book App by PhenoApps, now enhanced with EBS BrAPI integration, offers a highly efficient solution for phenotypic data collection. By replacing the traditional, time-consuming methods of hand-recording and manual data entry, this app streamlines the process and enhances accuracy.

With EBS BrAPI integration, the Field Book App provides seamless connectivity between our web and mobile platforms. After a quick installation and setup, you can effortlessly import data, enter it directly into the app, review it using the grid view, and sync everything for a smooth upload. This efficient approach simplifies data collection, making your workflow faster and more reliable.

Getting Started

This user guide provides a comprehensive, step-by-step using the FieldBook App with EBS. Assuming your occurrence is already available in EBS, please ensure you have the following:

  1. EBS CB-Experiment Manager. Be sure to set up trait protocols before importing your occurrence on the Field Book App.

  2. EBS account. Make sure you have the correct username and password for your mobile app. Alternatively, ensure you're logged into your work email that matches your EBS login details.

  3. Local device. Dedicate one file folder on your mobile device to store your files.

  4. Field Book App. Download and install the Field Book App from Google Play on your Android device. After that, adjust the basic app settings to get started.

For demo purposes, you may also download and install the app using Field book v5.6.21.apk.
