Perform a basic search

A basic search lets you find germplasm using parameters, input lists, or conditions. Let’s start your first basic search!

Search using query parameters

1. From the Germplasm tool, locate the Query Parameters section on the upper section of the page.

2. Provide the germplasm names of the values that you want to search for. You can enter multiple values separated by commas. You may also add the wildcard (%) symbol before and/or after the values if you don’t know the exact germplasm name (e.g. IRRI %).

3. Specify the germplasm type by selecting from the dropdown menu.

You only need to provide one parameter to search for germplasm.

4. Afterward, click Find to execute your query.

Once the results have finished loading, you can manage your results or use additional search parameters.

4. Provide your search values in the input field, which is the blank field to the right of the Designation dropdown field.

6. Click on Select saved list ((blue star)) on the left side of your list to import the list values into the input field.
