Breeding Analytics
Several UI improvements can now be observed in the Analysis Request Manager (ARM) and Phenotypic Data Manager (PDM) tools.
Analysis Request Manager
Paginations are the page numbers at the bottom of the data browser that help users navigate the list of transactions in a tool. When browsing for requests, at most 10 page links is now be provided on the page navigation menu.
Basic audit details, including the creator, last modifier, and the dates of changes, are now displayed in the browser for easy reference.
Phenotypic Data Manager
When viewing occurrences via the Experiment Manager tool or the PDM data browser, a pop-up message is now displayed when the occurrence has no collected plot trait data.
The pop-up window includes instructions on how you can troubleshoot the issue.
The Stats Table houses summary information on the computed statistics from an occurrence’s collected numerical plot trait data. The Stat Table’s column headers are now intact so that it is still viewable when scrolling through rows of data.
The Trait Table contains the individual plot trait data of an occurrence. Pin or Unpin header/s in the Trait Table to freeze specific column/s.
A Scatterplot graph is one of the four data visualizations available in the PDM tool, which visualizes the relationship between two traits. Multiple scatterplot graphs can now be displayed in the workspace.
Core Breeding
Inventory Search
The text field is disabled when searching for package records using Input List in Inventory Search unless the user defines the field type from the dropdown menu.
The tool can only add up to 40,000 items to the working list. If users exceed this limit, a pop-up message will notify them.
Inventory Manager
Regular EBS users can now access the Update tab of the Inventory Manager tool. However, they are limited to uploading package information in the tool, specifically the following: package status, package quantity, package unit, and facility.
Check out the user guide on updating seed and package records to learn more about the specific steps.
Experiment Creation
The germplasm state column is now visible when users add entries under the Entry List tab in the Experiment Creation tool.
If the column is not visible, users can add it by clicking the Personalized grid settings button from the toolbar.
Experiment Manager
The Contact Person column displays the names of contact persons from the Contact Relationship Management (CRM) tool under the Core System domain. This means users can only see the names saved in the EBS records.
Users cannot replace an entry if at least one plot from the occurrence was harvested. A pop-up message will appear to remind them of this limitation.
The updated toggle description will remind users that they can replace suppressed and bad data with NA when downloading metadata and plot data and occurrence data collection files.
Harvest Manager
The germplasm type column is visible when users add plot harvest data in the Harvest Manager tool under the Harvest Data tab.
On the other hand, the plot code column is visible under the Management tab.
If the columns are not visible, users can check the Personalized grid settings button and add them to the browser.
