The Container tab allows EBS administrators to match the containers with the facilities and sub-facilities. Before exploring its new capabilities, make sure that the container and facility records exist in EBS to prevent errors.
Coordinate with the EBS administrators for the container and facility records.
Upload container file
From the toolbar, click Template. A CSV file will be saved on the local device.
Fill out the necessary columns in the CSV file.
After that, click Upload.
Click Browse and select the filled-out CSV file or drag it into the modal window.
Click Validate.
The transaction is successfully added to the browser with the validated status. This means that the container and facility information exists in EBS.
Users may click the View Error Logs icon to check if there are warnings or errors detected.
Transactions with warnings indicate that the uploaded container is linked to a facility with existing containers.
Users can still proceed to validate this transaction because it is understood that facilities can house multiple containers.
Complete the transaction
To complete the transaction, click the Complete File Upload Transaction icon.
The modal displays the number of containers to be uploaded in the Inventory Manager. Click Proceed to finalize the step.
The transaction has now the completed status. Users can also click View Summary or Download file to manage the validated container information.
Great job! Here’s what can be done with the updated containers and facilities.
