Before adding the records in the Working List, users can change the view of the search results in the Results Viewer and filter them according to their desired outcomes.

View search results

  1. By default, the results are automatically grouped by germplasm, indicated by a row header that shows the (a) germplasm name, (b) package count, and (c) seed count.

  1. To view the search results without the germplasm grouping, simply click Search results settings and toggle off Group Results.

Filter and sort search results

  1. Filter the search results by typing in the values under the headers. The wildcard (%) can also be used if unsure of the exact name.

  1. Another way of looking for specific germplasm is by sorting the results by clicking the table headers. Click Search results settings and toggle off Group Results,

  2. Then, sort the records ascendingly or descendingly, regardless of the germplasm grouping.

If users sort records with germplasm groups, the alphabetical order of the groups remains intact, and sorting applies to the records within each group. This applies when users sort multiple packages per germplasm.

Refer to Examples A and B to check the difference in sorting.

Example A (Seed Name sorted in ascending order)

Example B (Seed Name sorted in descending order)

Great job! By managing the search results, users can have a refined view of the seeds and packages available in the program.
