What is the RSN?

The Regional Support Network (RSN) is a global initiative designed to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing among data managers, expert users, and support team members. Its goal is to enhance peer-to-peer support and ensure continuous assistance for users of the Enterprise Breeding System (EBS).

The RSN is organized into three regions: Americas, Africa, and Asia, allowing geographically co-located network members to attend online meetings during working hours. The network also has cross-regional teams that focus on specific topics of interest such as genotypic data and database management.

Each regional group is led by members of the Global User Support (GUS) team. Within Digital Solutions, GUS coordinates support efforts, manages training activities, generates system documentation, such as user guides, and facilitate communications.

What does the RSN do?

  • Hosts monthly meetings to share updates, highlight best practices, and address common challenges

  • Organizes regular training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities

  • Promotes peer communications and support among network members

  • Helps ensure the successful implementation of Digital Solutions tools
