Select packages per entry
Check the package status per entry (or parent for crossing experiments) under the Availability column. Refer to the panel below for the definition of each status.
Selected - The package is already preselected. This can be because the entry only has one package available or if the selected entry was preselected from a list or experiment.
For selection (SELECT) - Multiple available packages can be selected for that entry.
Unavailable - The packages from the entries are not available for the current program.
Click the Select button beside the entry to select packages.
From the Select Package modal window, select one among the packages ticking the options button and click Save.
Select packages for multiple or all entries
Tick the checkboxes beside the entries (or parents for crossing experiments) for selection.
From the toolbar, click the gear icon () > Select Packages > Selected.
Users may skip Step 1 and proceed to clicking the gear icon () > Select Packages > All to select all entries or parents.
From the Select Packages modal window, fill in the fields to filter seed sources. Click Search.
The system automatically selects the package with the available quantity from your search. Once satisfied, click Confirm.
Users may still select their preferred packages regardless of the quantity by ticking the options button.
Replace previously selected packages
Users can still replace the packages that were previously selected, especially for entries with multiple packages.
Click the button of the entry with the Selected status.
From the Select Package modal window, select the new package for replacement by ticking the options button. After that, click Save.
Once satisfied with the selection and replacement of entries or parents, click Next in the upper-right corner of the page.
The next step differs depending on the type of experiment. Refer to the info panel below for the specific instructions.
For Breeding Trial experiment, the next step is to generate the randomization of entries.
For Intentional Crossing Nursery experiment, the next step is to identify your crosses.
For Cross Parent Nursery, Generation Nursery, or Observation experiment, the next step is to specify the planting arrangements either by blocks or by entry order.
