Users may skip this step if they need to upload time series plot data in the Data Collection tool. Refer to this user guide for the complete steps.

Upload collected data

To save recorded data for a specific occurrence (plot) or cross list (cross), users must upload the plot or cross data collection file to the data browser.

  1. Click Upload > Plot/Cross Data.

  1. In the Data Collection Upload page, click Browse and select the file with the collected trait data.

If users upload data from other data collection software, select More File Upload Options and upload the file. The Experiment Manager accepts uploading of trait data from Field Book, KSU Inventory, Easy Harvest, and Moisture Meter 1.

  1. Click Upload.

If users encounter an error while uploading, click Remove to delete the file and re-upload. Meanwhile, if they are trying to upload data for an occurrence that already has data uploaded, it will overwrite the existing data with the latest upload.

  1. Once approved, the Data Collection page opens with the uploaded trait data. The uploaded data is now visible in the Transactions table.

Take note of the status assigned to the data.

Upload plot data from multiple experiments and occurrences

It is also possible for users to upload plot data from more than one occurrence and experiment. They will need to compile the data collection results in one file before uploading them. Refer to the dropdown for the instructions.

 

Users can now upload data collection files from Hiphen (time-series data) and Intercross (crossing data), and images from Field Book. See the following user guides for details:
