Analysis Request Manager

Once you have ensured the quality of your collected data for your breeding trial experiments, it is ready for analysis. You can now send your analysis requests through the Analysis Request Manager. The tool allows breeders to:

  • Submit analysis requests per trait;

  • View and manage the analysis jobs generated; and

  • Finalize the requests.

Let’s get started with navigating the tool.

Get Started

There are two ways to access the Analysis Request Manager: the Phenotypic Data Manager tool and the Breeding Analytics domain.

Through Phenotypic Data Manager

Once your data has been saved for quality control and all traits are marked as Quality-checked (QCed), you can stay in the Phenotypic Data Manager to further inspect the trait data of your occurrences.

Once done, you can proceed to the Analysis Request Manager (ARM) tool by clicking the Analyze button, which is located at the top right corner of the Phenotypic Data Manager browser.

Although you can view and send any experiments in the PDM for quality checking, you can only send analysis requests for all Breeding Trial (BT) experiments except those in the On-Farm Trial (OFT) stage.

Through the Breeding Analytics domain

  1. Open the Breeding Analytics domain link and log in using your EBS credentials.

  1. Click the left navigation button () on the top left corner to open the left navigation panel and find the Analysis Request Manager option.

  1. The Analysis Request browser displays the list of all submitted analysis requests created under the same program.

Add new request

From the data browser, click Request analysis. Then, select between Single-occurrence and Multi-occurrence.

You can only create multi-occurrence analysis requests from the finalized single-occurrence analysis requests.

Great job! Let us first create a single-occurrence analysis by selecting occurrences for analysis.
