Update experiment information
Under the Experiment tab, edit the experiment information as needed.
Optionally, select the variable from the dropdown menu. Then, click Add Variable.
A new field with the new variable will appear. Edit it as needed. Changes made are automatically saved.
Update occurrence information
Under the Occurrence tab, edit the data columns as needed.
Optionally, select the variable from the dropdown menu. Then, click Add Variable.
A new field with the selected variable will appear. Edit it as needed. Changes made are automatically saved.
Add occurrence for Breeding Trial and Observation experiments
Click the Add Occurrence button on the page.
Modify information from the added occurrence. Optionally, click the Delete icon to remove the occurrence.
Click Confirm. The modal window will display the parameter set(s) that can be used in the new occurrence.
Tick the option button beside the parameter set and click Confirm. Once the process is done in the background, the added occurrence will now have the createdstatus.
If Breeding Trial occurrences were created by uploading a design template, users can add more occurrences by uploading one too. Refer to the dropdown to learn more.

Optionally, select the variable from the dropdown menu. Then, click Add Variable.
A new field with the selected variable will appear in the window. Edit it as needed. Changes made are automatically saved.
Regenerate occurrence design
The regeneration of design is currently allowed for experiments with the following designs: RCBD, Alpha Lattice, Row-Column, Augmented RCBD, and Partially Replicated.
Tick the checkbox beside the created or mapped occurrence. Then, click the Bulk Update icon > Regenerate Design. The Update Occurrence Design browser opens, where users can see the previously generated design.
Delete the previous design by clicking Delete. A modal opens to confirm the deletion.
To verify the message in the modal, click Confirm. The deletion will be processed in the background.
Once complete, users can modify the occurrence design details and submit them for new randomization.
The steps are the same as those in the Experiment Creation tool for non-sparse and sparse designs.
Once the new design is successfully submitted and randomized, click Confirm located in the upper right corner. The Experiment Manager browser reopens, and the system processes the regenerated design in the background.
This confirms the successful regeneration of the occurrence design. It will also change its status to created.
Great! What are the next steps?
Generate codes for the entries and/or plots in the experiment.
Add or update protocols to the occurrences.
Prepare data collection files for experiments and occurrences.
