Update protocols for selected occurrence

Modify the planting protocols

1. Under the Planting tab, check the crop establishment, planting type, and plot type if there are any. Change selections if needed.

2. Modify the planting protocols, especially those marked with an asterisk ( * ).

3. Once done, click Save.

Modify the pollination instructions

Intentional Crossing Nursery, Cross Parent Nursery, Generation Nursery

1. Under the Pollination tab, check the provided pollination instructions if there are any. Indicate one if needed.

2. Once done, click Save.

Modify the trait protocols

Select individual traits

1. Under the Traits subtab, check the predetermined traits if there are any. If needed, select the trait to be added from the dropdown menu.

2. Click Add to move it to the Selected Traits section. If needed, ⇌ Replace the previous items with the selected trait.

3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until satisfied with the list. The changes are automatically saved.

Select trait lists

1. Under the Trait Lists subtab, check the predetermined traits if there are any. If needed, select the trait list to be added from the dropdown menu.

2. Click Add to move it to the Selected Traits section. If needed, ⇌ Replace the previous items with the selected trait list. The changes are automatically saved.

3. Optionally, add instructions to the traits in the text fields. Users can also select them and click the Bulk update icon to modify them in bulk.

4. If needed, delete the traits by selecting them and clicking the Delete icon.

Modify the management protocols

Select individual management attributes

1. Under the Management Variables subtab, select the management attribute from the dropdown menu.

2. Click Add to move it to the Selected management attributes section. If needed, click ⇌ Replace to remove the previous items and replace them with the selected attribute.

3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until satisfied with the list. The changes are automatically saved.

Select management variable lists

1. Under the Management Variable Lists subtab, select the management list from the dropdown menu.

2. Click Add to move it to the Selected management attributes section. If needed, ⇌ Replace the previous items selected management list. The changes are automatically saved.

3. Optionally, add instructions to the attributes in the text fields. Users can also select them and click the Bulk update icon to modify them in bulk.

4. If needed, delete the attributes or save them as a management list by selecting them and clicking the Delete icon or Save as list.

Modify the harvest protocols

1. Under the Harvest Method tab, check the selected harvest method. Change the selection if needed. Optionally, add additional harvest instructions in the text field

2. Once done, click Save.

Update protocols for multiple occurrences

1. Tick the checkboxes beside the occurrences. The occurrences can be from the same experiment or multiple experiments.

2. Click the Update experiment- or occurrence-level data > Update occurrence protocols.

3. Set the protocols as needed. Refer to the previous steps in updating protocols.
