View search results
Search results show all the trait variables in the system. You can quickly view the trait name/s, data type, usage, level, and status.
View additional information about a specific trait by clicking View trait beside the search result.
A pop-up window will display the trait’s general information and its property, method, and scale.
Filter and sort results
1. Filter your results by typing a value in the blank header field. Use the exact string or the wildcard if you don’t know the exact trait name (e.g., %FLOWERING%).
2. You can also sort your results by clicking the Manage sorts icon on the results browser toolbar.
Create a saved trait list
A saved trait list allows users to choose and save traits to use for future experiments.
Tick the checkboxes beside the traits to be added to the list.
Click Save as new list.
From the modal window, provide a name for your new list. Give your trait list a meaningful name that helps you quickly identify what records are included and for which experiment it will be used.
Click Submit.
Great job! Users can then add their trait list to their experiments in the Experiment Creation tool.
