Inventory Manager

  • Regular EBS users can now access the Update tab of the Inventory Manager tool. However, they are limited to uploading package information in the tool, specifically the following: package status, package quantity, package unit, and facility.

Experiment Creation

  • The germplasm state column is now visible when users add entries under the Entry List tab in the Experiment Creation tool.

Info

If the column is not visible, users can add it by clicking the (blue star) Personalized grid settings button from the toolbar.

  • Users can also assign entries as spatial checks. They can select the option by assigning them as checks under the entry type column and then as spatial checks under the entry role column.

image-20241126-020723.png

  • For Breeding Trial experiments, a warning message will display in the Design tab when users create changes to their entry list. Users will be reminded to repeat randomizations after adding changes.

image-20241126-022257.png

  • An error icon will be displayed in each parameter set if there is an error (blue star) Error icon is visible for parameters that showed error(s) during randomization. Hover to the (blue star) error icon to view the message.

Experiment Manager

  • The experiment designs can now be seen per occurrence under the Design column. Users can easily locate the occurrences and their respective designs created using the new interface of the Experiment Creation’s Design tab.

image-20241126-051435.png

  • Users can now edit occurrence information simultaneously under the Occurrence tab. They can (blue star) toggle right to All to display all occurrences under the experiment and edit their information.

  • The Contact Person column displays the names of contact persons from the Contact Relationship Management (CRM) tool under the Core System domain. This means users can only see the names saved in the EBS records.

image-20241022-004922.png

  • Users cannot replace an entry if at least one plot from the occurrence was harvested. A pop-up message will appear to remind them of this limitation.

  • The updated toggle description will remind users that they can replace suppressed and bad data with NA when downloading metadata and plot data and occurrence data collection files.

Data Collection

  • Sensitive information such as pedigree and synonym is hidden when viewing the germplasm information in the Field Book app.

Harvest Manager

  • For soybean and cowpea non-selfing cross harvest, the cross names will have the TGx (Tropical Glycine Max) prefix.

image-20241126-050406.png

  • The germplasm type column is visible when users add plot harvest data in the Harvest Manager tool under the Harvest Data tab.

image-20241025-022431.png

  • On the other hand, the plot code column is visible under the Management tab.

Breeding Analytics

Several UI improvements can now be observed in the Analysis Request Manager (ARM) and Phenotypic Data Manager (PDM) tools.

Analysis Request Manager

  • Users can (blue star) Refresh the ARM’s main browser to update the status of the generated analysis results. The button can be seen at the upper right part of the page.

image-20241203-054850.png

  • Error messages for requests with

    Status
    colourRed
    titlecanceled
    and
    Status
    colourRed
    titleerror
statuses can now be viewed by hovering on the status beside the request.

image-20241203-054121.png

  • Paginations are the page numbers at the bottom of the data browser that help users navigate the list of transactions in a tool. When browsing for requests, at most 10 page links is now be provided on the page navigation menu.

image-20241004-020350.png

  • Basic audit details, including the creator, last modifier, and the dates of changes, are now displayed in the browser for easy reference.

image-20240904-015341.png

Phenotypic Data Manager

  • When users add comments while saving the transaction in the Phenotypic Data Manager, they can view them by hovering on the (blue star) Notes icon in the Trait Table’s toolbar.

image-20241203-055348.png

  • The Close Transaction checkbox is removed from the Save transaction modal window. Instead, users can check the updates from Core Breeding to review the data without reloading the transaction.

After

  • When viewing occurrences via the Experiment Manager tool or the PDM data browser, a pop-up message is now displayed when the occurrence has no collected plot trait data.

The pop-up window includes instructions on how you can troubleshoot the issue.

  • The Stats Table houses summary information on the computed statistics from an occurrence’s collected numerical plot trait data. The Stat Table’s column headers are now intact so that it is still viewable when scrolling through rows of data.

image-20241009-052944.png

  • The Trait Table contains the individual plot trait data of an occurrence. Pin or Unpin header/s in the Trait Table to freeze specific column/s.

image-20241009-053235.png

  • A Scatterplot graph is one of the four data visualizations available in the PDM tool, which visualizes the relationship between two traits. Multiple scatterplot graphs can now be displayed in the workspace.

Molecular Data Analysis

  • When exporting the genotypic data in the Molecular Data Analysis (MDA) tool, the (blue star) Download button displays a modal window where users can customize the contents and include the sample call rates and marker call rates options.

    to
    Status
    colourGreen
    titleapproved
. The batch information will be removed and changed to “Not Applicable”.
