If you will create new seed and package records, you must upload them in the Create tab of the Inventory Manager. The tab shows all seed and/or package upload transactions.

Download template

You must first use the templates provided before uploading the records. You may download either a blank template file or an existing file from a list.

From blank template

1. Click the Templatebutton.

2. Select Blank template, then click either Seed and package or Package only.

3. The CSV file of the template will be saved in your device. Fill out the template with valid information about your seeds and/or packages.

4. Save the edited CSV file on your computer.

From an existing list

1. From the Templatebutton, select Template from list.

2. You will be directed to the browser with the saved germplasm, seed, or package lists under your program. Choose the list where you will get your template and click Download file ((blue star)).

3. You can choose either Seed and package or Package only.

You may view the germplasm, seed, or package lists by clicking the View Summary ((blue star)) icon. The modal window will display the existing items in the list.

4. The CSV file of the template will be saved in on your device. Fill out the template with valid information about your seeds and/or packages.

5. Save the edited CSV file on your computer.

Upload records

After inputting the seed and package records to into your template, you may now upload them. Make sure that the data is finalized and correct to avoid errors.

Upload seed and package records

1. Click the Upload button, then select Seed and package.

2. In the Seed and Package File Upload modal window, drag and drop the file from your local device or click Browse to upload.

3. Once the file has been uploaded, click Validate.

Note

Make sure to upload the file with correct data. The uploading of an invalid file will be flagged in the modal window.

4. A notification will appear on the browser to confirm the validation of records. The status will change to

will appear if the system encountered errors in uploading records. Click the (blue star) to view the error logs.

Upload package records

1. Click the Upload button, then select Package only.

2. In the Package File Upload modal window, you may drag and drop the file or click Browse to upload.

3. Once the file has been uploaded, click Validate.

Note

Make sure to upload the file with correct data. The uploading of an invalid file will be flagged in the modal window.

4. A notification will appear on the browser to confirm the validation of records. The status will change to

Manage transaction

Once the uploaded records are validated, you may complete the transaction. Your records will be reviewed before completion. You may delete the transaction as well.

Complete transaction

1. Locate the uploaded transaction that you wish to complete and click the Complete File Upload Transaction ((tick)) icon.

2. A modal window will appear to confirm the transaction. Click Proceed, otherwise, click Cancel.

3. A notification will appear on the browser to process the creation of records. The status will change to

once the process is successful.

Delete transaction

1. Locate the transaction that you wish to delete and click the Delete File Upload Transaction ((blue star)) icon.

2. A modal window will appear to confirm the deletion of the transaction. Click Confirm, otherwise, click Cancel.
